Debbie Shaw~ an artist and portrait photographer who lives in New Market, Maryland.
She uses her love of photography to capture textures in nature, which, inspire her one of a kind jewelry designs.
Using various metal smithing techniques, including the use of precious metal clay, she can customize most any idea
into a work of art! She has been beading and designing jewelry for more than 12 years, and brings this experience into
the quality of each jewelry design.
Her love of portrait work began when she received her first Polaroid point and shoot camera at the age of
10. She went to Montgomery College to study Photography. Using a 35 mm single lens reflex film camera
she studied black and white photography and darkroom basics. Although it was hard to give up film, she currently
shoots all of her portrait work on a digital SLR camera and her darkroom is her laptop!
